These castings are approx. 28 lbs. They are 5 1/2" wide, 8 1/2"
long, and 2 3/4" thick with a 2" square cast
peg on the bottom side that can slip handily into a 2
1/2" x 2 1/2" square tubing. No bolting or
fastening necessary. It can be inserted into a socket in
a table top or into a plank extended out from the table
to allow a round panel to be worked.These casting
are not perfect and have some pin holes in them. I do not
know what the hardness is. I have one and mine works just
fine. They are rough cast and will need to be finished by
you depending on what finish you want. It generally takes
about 15-30 minutes to sand smooth with a grinder.
You will find this to be a good multi-purpose tool to add to your shop.
